As a certified stretch practitioner and experienced kickboxing/boxing coach, I bring over 12 years of experience training amateur and professional fighters, and more than 7 years of experience helping both athletes and everyday heroes feel their best through 1-on-1 assisted stretching and corrective exercise.
I offer personalized sessions tailored to your goals whether you're looking to relieve tightness, improve performance, reduce stress, or just feel better day-to-day, all from the comfort of your own space, on your own schedule.

About
Tarik El Khoury
My martial arts journey began at just 4 years old.
By age 6, I became one of the youngest black belts under the World Taekwondo Federation.
I competed in sparring, weapons, and forms tournaments across California, and had the honor of representing the U.S. twice in South Korea. Bringing home over 8 gold medals from overseas.
At 13, I shifted my focus to Mixed Martial Arts, diving into Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. By 15, I had earned a 3rd-degree black belt in both Taekwondo and Hapkido before fully committing to kickboxing, boxing, BJJ, Judo, and MMA.
As I grew as an athlete, I developed a deep passion for coaching. Helping beginners become confident athletes and supporting teammates in sharpening their skill sets and reaching new levels.
At 23, a serious injury forced me to step away from my goal of becoming a professional fighter. During my recovery, I spent years trying to redefine my path. That’s when I discovered that coaching kickboxing and offering 1-on-1 assisted stretching weren’t just ways to stay involved, but became my new passion and purpose.
Now, I get to help people in ways that go far beyond fighting. From improving recovery, mobility, and body awareness to building confidence, reducing stress, and supporting long-term health.

No Stress Stretching Philosophy
At No Stress Assisted Stretching, everything we do is rooted in a client-driven, results-based philosophy. Every session is designed with purpose, backed by proven methods, and tailored to help you move, feel, and perform better day after day.
We follow what we call the 90/90 Hamstring & Hip Mobility Rule: the closer your hamstring and hip mobility is to a 90-degree range, the better your circulation, recovery, mobility, and workouts become. It's a simple but powerful standard that helps maximize every session.
Using a personalized combination of PNF stretching, static stretching, and myofascial massage gun therapy, we go beyond just a “feel-good” stretch. You’ll feel the difference immediately, and more importantly. You’ll see the results over time.
Both PNF and static stretching have their place:
- We use static stretching for recovery or when someone is just starting out and needs to realign their body and ease into assisted stretching.
- We use
PNF stretching
before activity to warm up, or as part of recovery from injury often alongside physical therapy or home therapy programs.
We also incorporate a myofascial massage gun to target stubborn areas. It helps loosen tight fascia and increase blood flow either to help you ease into a deeper stretch or to calm the area afterward.
Each session is guided by a simple tension scale from 1 to 10:
- 1–2: Gentle stretch, almost unnoticeable
- 3–5: Tight but relaxing
- 5–7: Deep but breathable
- 8–10: We avoid! That’s the danger zone for overstretching and potential injury.
We keep things safe, effective, and customized always.

No Stress Striking Philosophy
At No Stress Mobile Striking, our approach to boxing and kickboxing is rooted in a client-driven, results-based philosophy. Every session is built with purpose, guided by experience, and tailored to help you train smarter, move sharper, and perform with more confidence day after day.
Tarik teaches what he calls the Foundation Method. Just like building a house, you don’t start with painting and decorating. You must begin with the framework to build a strong structure. The same is true for striking. Before you can throw fun and complex 15-strike combinations with head movement, footwork, and defensive blocks, or complete high-intensity mitt rounds that simulate sparring or fighting, you must first master the basics: clean punches and kicks, efficient movement, understanding the purpose behind each head movement and block, learning how to connect your strikes, and most importantly, building the stamina and confidence to perform multiple rounds.
The sharper your technique, the stronger your body, and the calmer your mind, the better your timing, endurance, and confidence become. This simple and powerful mindset keeps every session focused and progressive.
As the solo coach at No Stress Mobile, I personalize each session with a mix of technical training, conditioning drills, and mindset coaching that goes far beyond just a sweaty workout. You will feel the difference right away, and more importantly, you will see real growth in how you move, think, and strike.
Each session is structured with clear intention:
Focus Mitt Combo-Based Rounds: focus on clean movement, sharp form, and solid fundamentals. These rounds help develop pattern recognition, strike and defense connections, and muscle memory.
Live Action Focus Mitt Rounds: simulate sparring or fighting without the risk of injury. These sessions build power, timing, and endurance so your skills hold up when it matters most.
Footwork Drills: incorporate loop bands and agility ladders to improve mind-body coordination, movement patterns, foot placement, and lower-body strength.
Mindset and Focus Training helps you stay calm under pressure, respond instead of react, and find your rhythm in the chaos.

I started training with Tarik on top of my regular weightlifting routine to lose some body fat and lean out. The kickboxing sessions have been intense, fun, and exactly what I needed to push my conditioning.
