About Tarik El Khoury


My work is rooted in one mission: helping rotational athletes and active individuals move better, recover faster, and perform at their highest level without unnecessary tension, stiffness, or limitation.


My journey started at 4 years old in martial arts, where I began developing a lifelong understanding of movement, discipline, and body control. By age 6, I earned my first black belt under the World Taekwondo Federation. Over the years, I competed across California in sparring, forms, and weapons, and had the opportunity to compete in South Korea through independent competition, gaining valuable experience at a high level of international martial arts.


As I grew, I transitioned into Mixed Martial Arts at 13, training in Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, boxing, Judo, and kickboxing. For years, I lived as a rotational athlete developing power through the hips, core, spine, and shoulders, and learning firsthand how mobility and restriction directly impact speed, control, and performance. By my mid-teens, I had earned multiple black belts across different martial arts and continued expanding my training while also stepping into coaching helping athletes improve movement, technique, and performance.


At 23, a serious injury forced me to step away from my goal of becoming a professional fighter. That moment became a turning point in my life.

During my recovery and work as a personal trainer and strength & conditioning coach, I discovered assisted stretching. What started as a recovery tool quickly became something I genuinely connected with. I found I enjoyed it far more than just pushing athletes through intense training. I enjoyed helping people feel better, move better, and recover better through intentional, hands-on work.


From 2017 through 2026, I committed myself to studying and practicing assisted stretching and mobility work through real client sessions, continuous learning, and hands-on experience. Over time, it became clear this wasn’t just part of my work, it was my purpose.


Today, I combine over 26 years of athletic experience, a lifetime as a rotational combat athlete, over a decade of coaching, and nearly 10 years of dedicated assisted stretching practice to deliver fully personalized, mobile sessions designed to restore movement quality and support long-term performance.

I specialize in working with rotational athletes golfers, pickleball players, fighters, and active individuals who rely on rotation, mobility, and fluid movement to perform at their best.

Having spent 7 years working within corporate gyms and studios, I saw firsthand how the experience often became impersonal where members were treated like numbers instead of individuals. We follow what we call the 90/90 Hip & Hamstring Mobility Standard:
The closer your hips and hamstrings are to a true 90-degree range, the more efficiently your body can rotate, generate power, and recover.

  • Static Stretching:
    Used for recovery, alignment, and for athletes who need to reset tight or restricted movement patterns
